Regional Trail Coalitions

Regional Trail Coalition Meetings unite diverse stakeholders to build a connected and sustainable trail network through collaborative mapping, project prioritization, and shared advocacy. By aligning on a regional vision, these sessions foster the partnerships and funding strategies necessary to ensure equitable, safe, and well-maintained trail systems for the entire community.

Webinars

Specialized webinars designed to strengthen Alabama’s outdoor recreation industry. Our sessions offer expert-led training in non-profit management, event planning, grant writing, and fundraising. We also dive deep into the technical side of outdoor recreation, covering the creation, development, and long-term sustainability of trail systems and parks.

Training & Certifications

Professional, hands-on certifications to build and maintain Alabama’s trails. Our Trail Master Certification covers sustainable design and construction through classroom and field learning. For advanced specialists, we offer Mechanized Trail Construction training on machinery like mini skid steers (requires Trail Master prerequisite). We also provide a Chainsaw Operation & Safety course, which includes Stop the Bleed certification and is open to all skill levels with no prerequisites.

Workshops & Events

Our workshops and events are tailored to the diverse needs of the outdoor recreation industry. From our collaborative Roundtable Workshops and Regional Trail Coalition meetings to strategic partnerships on local outdoor events, we provide a platform for networking, education, and statewide growth.
